UTICA COMETS PARTNER WITH DASH AUCTION APP TO GROW FAN EXPERIENCE
Oct 24, 2018There’s a new way to get your hands on some exclusive Comets gear and experience, and it is accessible right from your smartphone.
DASH Auction App is a new and innovative app catered to auctions for game-used, autographed, or exclusive sports gear. Beginning this season, the Comets have partnered with DASH to add another layer to their fan’s auction experience at the Adirondack Bank Center and beyond. DASH Auction App is an app, as well as a website, where fans can sign up and bid on their favorite Comets items, such as game-used jerseys, exclusive experiences with the players, limited edition locker room merchandise, and more. An auction will run for a set amount of time, with bids increasing at a set amount. Once the auction ends, if you are the winner, the Comets will contact you and organize either an in-person pickup or a shipping date to receive your item. All proceeds from the DASH Auction App go directly to the Save of the Day Foundation.
To access the DASH Auction App, all you have to do is:
- Download the Utica Comets App from the Appstore or Google Play
- Hit “more” and select “Comets Auctions”
- Sign up or log into your account
- Start your bidding!
- Repeat steps 1-2 in order to stay up-to-date on added items
The DASH Auction App is also accessible via the web by visiting uticacomets.com/fanzone and clicking on the Comets Auctions tab.
The Comets will unveil their first items – a game used Alex Biega jersey, team-signed stick, and Carter Bancks signed puck – on DASH this week to help familiarize fans with the platform. The Comets plan to utilize the DASH Auction App throughout the season for their theme night jerseys, autographed pucks, game used sticks, and more.
