LaBate and Rendulic Assigned to Comets

Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the Canucks have reduced their pre-season roster by five players. The moves bring the club's current roster to 33 players.

The following player has been released from his PTO:

James Sheppard             Centre

The following players have been assigned to their junior clubs:

Dmitry Zhukenov            Centre                       
Olli Juolevi                     Defence

The following players have been assigned to the Utica Comets:

Joseph LaBate    Left Wing
Borna Rendulic   Right Wing
