HOW TO TEST YOUR LUCK AT THE SAVE OF THE DAY NIGHT RAFFLE
Jan 19, 2018When the Comets face off against the Syracuse Crunch on Saturday, January 20, fans will have the opportunity to leave the Adirondack Bank Center with a piece of black and neon green history. Here are some frequently asked questions and answers to help you tomorrow night!
What are the details of the Save of the Day Night 15th Anniversary Raffle?
On Saturday, the Comets will hold their second Save of the Day Foundation Night, spearheaded by the Save of the Day 15th Anniversary Raffle – a raffle that gives you the chance to win one of over 100 black and neon green items, including game used jerseys. 3,924 raffle tickets are being sold in order to replicate the exact amount of seats in the Adirondack Bank Center. Tickets are $20 each, and can be purchased with cash, check, or credit card.
What can I win in the raffle?*
The purchase of a raffle ticket enters you to win:
- Game Used Jersey, shell, and socks
- Game Used Helmet
- Game Used Gloves
- Game Used Stick
- Bachman Game Used Glove & Blocker, and Pads
- SOD Night Nameplates & 2 Signed Pucks
Where can I purchase my raffle tickets?
Throughout Saturday’s game, fans will be able to purchase raffle tickets at the following locations:
- Save of the Day Window
- All 9 Concession Stands
- Team Store
- Roving Sellers
- 2 Designated Concourse Booths (next to One9Five9 & the Coloring Contest Wall)
- One9Five9
- Kilfoil’s (STMs Only)
- Horton Room (STMs Only)
- Zetlin’s Lounge (Members Only)
Comets staff members will begin to pull winning tickets immediately following the second intermission. Said winning ticket numbers will then be available to view at the Save of the Day window, as well as on the Comets website and social media accounts.
What do I do if I win?
If you are in fact a winner of an item, you can head to Section 204 immediately following the conclusion of the game to validate your winning ticket and wait for your player. As the players leave the locker room, they will come up to 204 in order to hand you your signed item(s) and take photos.
What do I do if I’m not at Saturday’s game?
Don’t worry – you do not have to be at the game in order to win. We will hold items for thirty days following Save of the Day night. They will be available for pick up at the Comets offices during normal business hours.
Where does my money go?
All proceeds from the Save of the Day raffle will benefit the Save of the Day Foundation, with a portion of the proceeds donated to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Law Enforcement Foundation, a local foundation committed to strengthening and growing the relationship between local law enforcement and the public. The Save of the Day Foundation is in the start of its 15th year helping both children undergoing life threatening illnesses and other local 501(c)3 organizations that the board of directors approves for support.
