Today’s Game: The Utica Comets remain on the road against the Rochester Americans. Puck drop is at 3:05 p.m.
Last Game: The Utica Comets battled back from a two-goal deficit in the third period to tie the game, but a late goal from the Syracuse Crunch handed the Comets a 2-0 loss on Friday night at the War Memorial. Nikolay Goldobin and Reid Boucher scored for Utica. Mikey DiPietro made 39 saves in the loss.
Head-to-Head: This is the sixth contest between the Comets and Americans this season. Utica leads the season series 3-2-0-0 and won the most recent matchup 3-2 back on December 31. The Comets have outscored the Americans 17-16 through five games.
