2016-17 Promo Schedule

Sep 19, 2016The Utica Comets are pleased to announce their promotional schedule for the 2016-17 season. Great giveaways, jersey auctions, and exciting theme nights highlight the fourth installment of Utica Comets hockey.
The promo schedule features the return of the Bobblehead Giveaway on Wednesday, Apr. 12. All fans in attendance that night will receive a bobblehead of a fan favorite Comets player.
The Comets will wear specialty jerseys for three games this season and will be auctioned off following the game for the Save of the Day Foundation. With the proceeds from the jersey auction, the Save of the Day Foundation will then, in turn, make a donation to a corresponding 501c3 charity. On Friday, Nov. 11, the Comets will don the stars and stripes to honor the men and women who protect and serve our country for Military Appreciation Night. The Comets will once again wear pink jerseys to raise money and awareness for the fight against breast cancer on Saturday, Dec. 3, for Pink the Rink Night. The final specialty jersey will be worn on Saturday, Jan. 28 for the Save of the Day Foundation theme night.
The fourth annual Clinton Comets Appreciation Night will take place on Sunday, March 12, when the Comets faceoff against the Binghamton Senators. Former Clinton Comet, Tom Mitchell, currently serves as the Senators Executive Vice President of Operations.
More information on theme nights, including design of the three specialty jerseys, will be announced at a later date.
The Friday, Oct.28 tilt against the Providence Bruins kicks off the promotional calendar with a Comets magnetic schedule giveaway to all fans, courtesy of Celtic Harp.
Other promotional nights include: Hand held “Go Comets” Fans Giveaway (Nov. 30), Skate with the Comets (Feb. 12), Comets logo temporary tattoos (Feb. 19), Team Photo Giveaway presented by Avalon (March 5), and Fan Appreciation Week (Apr. 9-14).
